What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern approach that combines the best of the evidence based psychotherapy and a therapeutic hypnosis.
Many outcomes from a modern neuroscience and brain research form a cornerstone of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and these are successfully integrated within our therapy goals. This is a powerful combination that is able to deliver a fast, significant and positive changes in clients’ lives.
The therapeutic process supports clients in their desire to resolve their issues that are causing suffering or creating problems. It focuses at what the client wants to achieve rather than at the problem itself. The focus is on the present and future rather than on the past, so there is no need to revisit past traumas.
Hypnosis itself reduces anxiety, and this is done very simply through relaxation and visualisation, allowing the client to focus on the positive aspects of their life that is encouraging a shift in perspective.
Hypnotherapy is effective in bringing relief to many problems. The hypnosis that is used during each session allows the brain to consolidate the desired changes faster than just talking therapy alone. It helps to align and synchronise the conscious and subconscious mind. It is like finding solutions by back door.
