FAQ’s

1. What happens during the hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural trance state. We enter into trance on a regular basis, for example when we get absorbed in reading  or walk in nature. We also enterer the state of trance or hypnosis when we are falling asleep or waking up. The mind is entering different state of brain activity.

Body relaxation techniques and visualisation are used first in order to descent into Alpha  and Theta  brain wave activity when the subconscious mind becomes more receptive.

In this deeply relaxed state, where both mind and body are at ease, it is possible to transform limiting thoughts and behaviours into more positive ones. This process has the power to change your life and your perceptions.

Within the therapeutic setting, positive outcomes are easier to achieve when you keep an open mind and fully engage with the process.

Hypnosis differs from sleep because it is a state of heightened concentration and focus, and, because you are so relaxed and at ease, it is usually a very enjoyable experience. Clients naturally return to conscious awareness; often feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Some people hear my voice during hypnosis, others drift off as they shift their awareness. Both of these responses are natural and will still allow you to access your subconscious mind. In this way; positive changes can be more deeply embedded.

Self-hypnosis can also be achieved when you listen to my relaxation download.

It allows clients, who are unable to attend in person, to get help they need from any place in the world.

A few important things that help sessions go as smoothly as possible are: good internet connection, fully charged device or access to a charge, an hour of an uninterrupted time and a private place where one can relax.
